Zed Charity Golf Classic

On September 7, 2011 the Oakfield Golf and Country Club welcomed more than 150 golfers, sponsors, special guests and volunteers for a day of golfing fun, with a new, drive thru registration bringing valet service to the parking lot. The course featured “HOLE- A - DAY Celebrations,” with each hole having themed food, drinks, many fun surprises, special “Zed Effects” and games, including many on course opportunities in support of the Metro Turning Point Centre. A silent auction during dinner gave guests a final opportunity to raise funds as well as a toast to a day well-spent. This annual event supports a different, worthy organization within our community each year.
