Top 50 CEO Awards Gala | Zed Events

Marking its 10th anniversary, the May 12, 2010 Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEO Awards Gala celebrated the many successful business men and woman throughout the region.  The décor of blue and purple – colours attributed to integrity, individuality and creativity – reflected and honoured the achievements of the evening’s award recipients.

 

The evening featured many local talents, including artist Iain Murray’s unique charcoal sketches of the winning CEOs displayed during the pre-dinner reception along the “Walk of Fame”, and veteran comedian Simon Cotter’s captivating performance as the evening’s energetic and funny emcee. Guests enjoyed the musical talents of The Instrumental Minstrels while savouring a spectacular 2-course meal, with the pinnacle of the evening being the awards ceremony – each individual CEO was brought to the stage to be honoured and presented with their award.

 

The evening was capped with ABM staff members and the Halifax Women’s Choir performing a rousing rendition of “Don’t Stop Thinking about Tomorrow”.  The party continued well into the evening as guests were treated to a delectable dessert buffet and live coverage of the hockey season’s game 7.
