Kent, a 33-location Atlantic Canada owned and operated building supply chain, hosted its first Pro Show for new and existing contractors, on March 24 in Saint John, March 31 in Halifax, and April 27 in St. John’s. Guests - builders, renovators, architects and contractors - had the opportunity to talk directly to building supplies manufacturers and learn about new products and technologies to help grow their business. In addition, skill competitions, refreshments, entertainment and prizes were part of welcoming guests to 'The Kent Experience'.
From the moment guests entered the venue, staff greeted them, provided directions, participated on the floor in skills competitions, and were the face of Kent’s brand and commitment to client relations. Prizes were drawn during each event and announced by the Emcee, creating a bit of buzz and excitement.
Décor included bistro tables with a small vase of nuts and bolts and a flower. The alcohol-free nature of the event paired well with vendors’ objectives of making valuable connections with potential clients, as well as being more ‘family-friendly’.
The energy and spirit of Kent staff, vendors and guests at these Pro Shows point to one thing – success, demand and growth for 2011!
