Venue: World Trade and Convention Centre
A Different Stage of Mind for 2009 took the power of celebrities to another level, as Haligonian high-profile business executives raised money to support the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.

This annual event has been one of the most successful fundraising events within Atlantic Canada, continually surpassing its fund-raising goal from the previous year. The 2009 event brought the total tally to over $1 million, after only six seasons.

Local business executives volunteered their time and fundraising efforts to become part of a live variety show. They adopted the personas of well-known singing celebrities to perform in front of their friends, family and colleagues.  The venue was transformed to emulate the look and feel of a TV studio - guests experienced the 'behind the scenes' working of a live television production, complete with professional host Peter Harrison and stage director, Jeremy Webb.
